INTRODUCTION
Started in 1993
offering a B.E. program in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
approved by AICTE with an intake of 60. The B.E. program was
accredited by National Board of Accreditation in the year 2002.
In the year 2003 the
college was elevated to the status of Deemed to be University. In
the year 2007 the college was elevated to the status of University
with B+ Grade in NAAC.

Affiliated to
University of Madras from September 1993 till December 2001 and
Anna University from January 2002 till 2003.
