students – Team “GARUDA” of III year Mechanical Engineering
annual convention held at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore,
during January 2008 had won FIRST Prize in Aero-modeling contest.

Our students have
participated in the event from 2008 onwards.

In 2008, our Team stood 12th among all
the teams in the Country.

In 2009 the team won
best award for outstanding efforts with a cash award of Rs.60,000.

In 2010 the team
grabbed the RAFTAR AWARD & SPEED AWARD and a cash award of Rs. 2
lakhs.

Our team has been shortlisted for SUPRA
SAE, formula race to be held in July 2011. The Race Car is designed
and built by our Students.
