WE guide the students
to seek information, sort it out, analyze and make meaning out of
it for conceptualization and application. We also provide valuable
guidance which serve as stepping stones to higher ideals and nobler
purposes in life, are, by far, the most precious aids in all human
endeavor.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department of
physics offers two semester physics course for I Year -
B.Tech.(2010-2014) B.Tech students. The department conducts theory
& practicals for I Year B.Tech students in their I semester &
Material Science in the II semester. The syllabus that is framed
for the I year is such that it forms a strong foundation for them
to understand the engineering subjects. The department aims at
developing the learning skills of the student not only in the
classroom but also in the laboratory. Emphasis is laid on
instilling a scientific temperament in students.
Apart from the
academics, the students are encouraged to do mini project to
develop an attitude towards science and its relevance and
importance of it to Engineering and Technology. The area of mini
project includes Physics, Electronics & Electrical. It is also
proposed to include the concept of mini project in the curriculum.
