Universities and industry, which for long have been operating in
silos, are rapidly closing in to create synergies. To meet the
demand of technically qualified employees from the industry,
many colleges have mushroomed in the area, churning out
thousands of technical graduate’s year on year. However, there
is a huge gap between the expectations of a company from job
aspirants and the curriculum taught to the students in the
colleges.
In order to curb the
unevenness spread of the mentioned gap, the Indian arm of
IBM’s worldwide Academic Initiative – Project Praviin is
keen to power that industry connect at Dr.MGR Educational
and Research Institute University campus. Being perceived as
a thought leader, IBM wishes to bridge the industry-academia gap
prevalent today for a smarter planet tomorrow!
An hour long panel discussion will be held at Dr.MGR
Educational Research Institute University Campus with the
panelists from IT Industry on 28th Sep 2012 @ 2PM.
This occasion provides a unique platform for interaction
between industry professionals, academicians and students. This
is an exceptional opportunity for the students and faculty
members to understand the latest trends of today’s industry
directly from the Industry Leaders. Also it provides students
and faculties with an opportunity to equip themselves with the
skills required in a “Fast changing IT global scenario”.

aspiring students of your B.Tech CSE/IT discipline. Please
