Dear Ramesh,  

The Premium sub Committee met in August in order to consider all the entries submitted for the IET Mike Sargeant and Sir Henry Royce Awards.  I am pleased to inform you that, from a number of excellent nominees, the judges selected you as the winner of the 2008 Sir Henry Royce Award.  As you may know, the Sir Henry Royce Award is presented annually to the Young Professional who is judged to have shown excellence in the previous year in their work in industry or for the profession.  The award consists of a certificate, medal and £250 cash.


We would be delighted if you could attend the IET’s Awards Ceremony on 3 November 2008 at the Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel, London in order to receive your certificate, cheque and medal from the CEO of the Sir Henry Royce Foundation?  The ceremony will start at 14:45 hours and the presentation will take place at some point during the afternoon.  There will be a networking reception between 17:30 and 18:30 and this will be followed by the Awards Dinner which will commence at 19:30.  I would be grateful if you could let me know whether or not you will be able to attend as soon as possible in order that I can arrange to send you a formal invitation. 


If you are unable to attend, I will ask the Sir Henry Royce Foundation to dispatch your certificate, cheque and medal to you by post.

Successfully done “RMAPA ("Remote Monitoring and Automatic Parking of Aircraft" project for the  year  2005, which was highly rewarded and recognized by the Media of Tamil Nadu (A Weekly Magazine dated Dhinathandi Ilaynarmalar 21/05/2005).

Successfully done “RCRV (Remote Control Recognizing Vehicle)” project for the year  2004, which was highly rewarded and recognized by the Media of Tamil Nadu (A Weekly Magazine Dhinathandi Ilaynarmalar (10/04/2004) and leading Television Network Sun TV).
