20th Convocation on

Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, Deemed University
(Decl. u/s.3 of UGC Act 1956), Maduravoyal, Chennai has
solemnized its 20th Convocation at 10.00 a.m. on
14th September 2011 at A.C.S. Convention Centre,
A.C.S. Medical College and Hospital Campus, Velappanchavadi,
Chennai.
Dr.
C.B. Palanivelu, Registrar confirmed that 447 PG students
and 2662 UG students were awarded M.Tech., M.D.S., M.B.A., M.C.A.,
M.P.T., B.Tech., B.D.S., B.Sc., B.Ed., and B.P.T. degrees
respectively .
His Excellency
Barath Ratna Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Former
President of India, the Chief Guest of the Convocation,
delivered the Convocation Address, which inspired one and all
and bestowed Gold Medals / Certificates to University Rank
Holders, First, Second and Third Rank Holders.
The President of Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute,

Arunkumar, presided over the Convocation. The Vice
