Thai Moogambigai Dental College and Hospital (TMDCH) is one of the leading dental colleges in Chennai and a constituent unit of Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, Deemed University. TMDCH is an ISO certified premium dental institution accredited with NAAC ‘A+’ grade (Score – 3.48 out of 4). TMDCH is a pioneer in the field of dental education and its inception dates back to 1991. Situated in a strategic location within the city limits (3 kms from CMBT Bus stand), TMDCH is easily accessible through public and private transport. Dr. M.G.R. Engineering College
Aiming to bring about change and progress through education, the Tmt.Kannammal Educational Trust was constituted in 1985 and started Thai Moogambigai Polytechnic College. Within three years of its inception, Dr. M.G.R. Engineering College was founded in 1988, and the Thai Moogambigai Dental College was started in the year 1991. Both the colleges acquired Deemed University status in 2003 as Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute as per the orders of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi and the Union Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India, New Delhi.

ACS Medical College and Hospital was started in the year 2007 under the ambit of Dr.MGR Educational and Research Institute.
ACS Medical College and Hospital offers medical services to majority of urban and rural people. The hospital have state of art facilities to manage wide range of medical and surgical conditions and well equipped laboratories round the clock. Our Hospital provides various state and central government schemes and evening special clinics to provide health care for the people. The institute is involved in community health services [Rural health training centre and urban health training centre] and provides services for needy people.
