Objective of the event:
Modern English Literature is a contemporary fusion of multicultural literary traditions. In this Globalized era, ethnic literature is the prime catalyst in the ever-changing essence of literature. It is said that life imitates art. From this, it is inferred that the ethnically-written word carves a path towards humanity’s ultimate goals of diversity and equality. Ethnic literature is multifaceted by its very nature, as its narrative is not only based on the society from which it emerges but also the philosophical differences that make every such work unique. Authors of various ethnicities from African to Indian and all in between, as well as authors of minority groups, continue to challenge the norms and boundaries of traditional literature. Therefore, the works of diverse ethnicities demand further study and deliberation, and the key to an inclusive future for the human race may lie within. This conference aims at scrutinizing these elements of ethnic authorship that have left their indelible mark on the arts.
