About the Conference :

The Literary Seminary organizes LITFEST, a National/International Conference, during the odd semester of every academic year. This conference focuses on the Research facet of English literature along with academic and extracurricular activities. This ‘Litfest’18’- A National Conference highlights "The Impact of Digital Journalism on English Literature” as our theme. Living as the Citizens of Twenty First Century it is evident that we are governed by the ‘Digital Era’. In order to bestow credits towards this development, Journalism has extended its new contemporary wing called ‘Digital Journalism’.

There has been a sudden outburst of Journalism in the Digital world along the recent years contributing to the development of Digital Journalism in various aspects. This has exerted significant benefits and challenges towards English literature. Dedicating ‘Litfest’18’ to "The Impact of Digital Journalism on English Literature- Synchronizing a Global Platform and the Universal Language: benefits and detriments”.

Scope :

To relate the gathering and dissemination of information using Digital Journalism and to ensure the durability of content provided using English Literature.

Aim :
To encourage more exploration into the aspects of Digital Journalism as well as analyzing its influence on English literature.
To acknowledge the adaptation from print to digital media and the significant merits and demerits it exerts on English Literature
To enhance adroitness amidst students through thought-provoking and fun-filled events and educative workshops
