CYBER SECURITY

AND FORENSIC LAB

The Cyber Security and Forensics Lab
provides students with hands-on experience
in investigating digital evidence using
advanced forensic tools. It is equipped with
state-of-the-art software and hardware for
disk imaging, data recovery, and analysis of
cyber threats. Students gain practical skills in
identifying cybercrimes, ensuring data
integrity, and developing security protocols.
The lab fosters expertise in e-discovery
processes and prepares students to handle
real-world challenges in information security
and digital forensics, paving the way for roles
in cybersecurity and forensic analysis.

HPC GARUDA – (HIGH

PERFORMANCE

COMPUTING) LAB

The Garuda Lab (Global Access to Resource
Using Distributed Architecture), inspired by
India’s Grid Computing initiative, is a high-
performance computing facility established in
collaboration with C-DAC. This lab provides
staff and students access to heterogeneous
computing resources across various operating
systems, platforms, and software, enabling
advanced research and development. The
Garuda Lab also serves as a knowledge center
for parallel programming, fostering innovation
and technical excellence.

IBM SOFTWARE CENTER

OF EXCELLENCE

The IBM Centre of Excellence provides a
platform for advanced learning and research
through a variety of IBM software and tools,
including DB2, RAD, TDS, RFT, Lotus, and WID.
This facility enables students and faculty to
enhance their technical expertise, engage in
innovative project work, and pursue impactful
research activities.
