3.5 Consultancy

3.5.1 Institution has a policy on IPR and consultancy including revenue sharing between the
Institution and the individual, besides a training cum capacity building programme for teachers,
students and staff for undertaking consultancy

Response:

The present scenario is such that a lot of innovations could be overcome using the technology acquired
from education. The consultancy work was developed and motivated with a vision to provide a better
career guidance to face the real time challenges. Apart from the academics, a wide exposure to present
world is needed to succeed. The modern education system is expected to have a combination of technical
and strong theoretical knowledge.

The departments are equipped with high tech research facilities and sophisticated equipments in the
