From the President’s Desk

Our University, reputed for creating equity, excellence
and well-being in education is a destination for Higher
Education. Ever since its inception, our University is a
prominent hallowed place for churning of knowledge
and instilling societal integrity in young minds. I am
abounded to share my happiness on the establishment
of Dr. MGR-ACS Space Technology Centre and
Satellite Development Laboratory, themed to facilitate
Rocket Science for everyone. It gives me ineffable joy
that this centre releases its first Magazine named,
Dr. MGR-ACS SPACE EXPLORER aimed to arouse Er. A.C.S. ArunKumar
space science temper among students. B.Tech (Hons)., LISTE., LMCSI., MIEEE., MIE.,

The magazine heralds the multitude of activities Dr.MGR Educational and Research Institute
performed by faculties and students. I congratulate all
the contributors and the Editorial Committee for the
successful publication of this Magazine.

Dr. MGR ERI is one of the top notch institutions in India
imparting eminent education to young minds that acts as a
potent vehicle for social emancipation and economic
rejuvenation. Beyond facilitating various disciplines in
Science, Technology and Medicine, our Institute has
initiated its ambitious stride towards space education and
thus spreading awareness on borderless world. I am
inundated to share my proud and happy note that our
Dr. MGR-ACS Satellite is one among 75 Student’s
Satellite Mission- 2022 scheduled to be launched by

ISRO during October 2022 to mark Country’s 75 year of
Prof. Dr. S. Geethalakshmi
Independence. The reflection of the students and
M.B.B.S., M.D., Ph.D., F.M.M.C., F.I.A.T.P., F.I.I.O.P.(UK),
F.A.C.H.S.M. (Aus) teachers ingenuity is the epitome of this magazine. It
