CONTINENTAL FUSION FOOD – A WORKSHOP – 2015

The Workshop was held mainly to expose the students of the department to Continental Fusion Food and to specialize in the field. Traditional European Food has great demand across the world. Hence the chefs having expertise in continental food also are in good demand. The workshop focused more on the techniques involved in mastering the continental fusion food. Students were much benefited since they could observe the expert chef – Chef Anand – actually preparing the food. Chef Anand is an expert in continental fusion food. He was, in fact, the first chef to introduce quality continental cuisine in Chennai through his restaurant – Corncopia. Crimson Chakra & Jonah’s goes to Malabar Coast offering authentic flavours of Mangalore, Kerala & Goa. Both of his restaurants are most frequented by continental fusion food lovers in Chennai

He learnt and acquired the expertise through the training that he received from several of chefs from around the world. – mainly Italy, Lousiana, Australia, London, Far East. Etc. The students attending the workshop did have the rare privilege of being with Chef Anand during the workshop session and learning the techniques directly from him.
