IFCA CULINARY CONGRESS – 2009

IFCA culinary Congress – 2009 was held in Hyderabad at Taj Krishna from 14.11.2009 to 16.11.2009. The event included in its agenda demonstrations, lecture sessions and panel interactions, etc. The presence of Global level Chefs at the event venue escalated the importance of the deliberations that took place at the event. Chef Vijaya Baskaran, Exec Chef Le Meridien, Bangalore, Chef Elango Rajendran and Chef Sheetharam Prasaad graced the occasion. Dr. Chef Soundararajan, Genl. Secretary, IFCA along with Mr. Prabu, Executive Officer planned the whole event for a hassle free execution.

Chef Manisha Bhasin, Executive Chef, Hotel ITC Maurya, New Delhi and Chef Sudhakar N Rao, Director and Principal of Culinary Academy of India were present at the event taking active part. It was a memorable occasion for the students and the staff of faculty of hotel management and catering technology to share the stage along with global chefs during the congress held at Hyderabad.

The culinary award winners were honoured on the stage at the event. Mr. Prabu, Executive Officer, IFCA, received the award of appreciation for his outstanding contribution towards the success of the event. Staff members – Mr. Vivekanandan and Mr. Koteeswara Rao – received the Certificates of Appreciation from Chef John Sloane. Vice President of World Association of Chefs Societies, during the IFCA Culinary Congress 2009.
