International Chef Day is celebrated every year on the 20th October and the activities create widespread awareness about the Chefs’ profession and also instil a sense of pride to the inters and the aspiring inters. The day also provides an opportunity for the inters to give back to the society by contributing to a noble cause.
The Faculty of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Dr. MGR Educational & Research Institute University has been always in the forefront of working for the cause of inters. International Chefs Day 2010, was celebrated by the faculty and the students of the department in a grand manner. The inters who readily came and were willing to share knowledge to our students were invited and felicitated during the day for their selfless service and contributions.
