The “International Chef’s day” is the day for Chefs across the globe. It is a celebration day. The day is for get-together, interaction, knowledge sharing and mutual appreciation apart from the day of celebrations for spreading the status of pride of the chef.
Chefs of different leading hotels converged at Dr. MGR Educational & Research Institute University complex on 20th October, 2011 or the International Chef’s day celebrations. The event organized by Indian federation of culinary Associations.
A balanced vegetarian meal was prepared on the occasion and distributed to 2100 students and teachers of Rama Krishna Vidya Niketan High School (boys and girls wings) and the Kinder Garten of the institute. The event conceptualized by IFCA – Southern Region & the Faculty of Hotel Management & Catering technology was well organized and to the appreciation of all concerned.
Mr. Vidyakar, the Founder of Udavum karangal which runs the institutions appreciated the organizers. He said “it is going to be an amazing Deepavali present”. The event was not only successful but also far out reaching.
