A Workshop on Salad & Food styling was organized at the Faculty of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Dr. MGR Educational & Research Institute University 8th August, 2011. The final year students of the college were exposed to the range of salads & Sauces – their making & styles. Food preparation and styling are an art, the basis of which has to be learnt, so as to later adopt individual choices & styles. It was a good learning session. The creative part of the task was the one which engrossed the students. In the creative part, the learning is normally about the concept as each creation is an original one since differently made.
The expert chef from Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Limited visited specially for the workshop. It was a great learning and fun.
