Students from the Department of Social Work, Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institution participated in ‘PAINT-A-THON’ a volunteer-driven activity to provide a facelift for government schools, organized by United Way of Chennai (UWC), a non-profit organization. Our students volunteered in this activity to revive the walls of the Government Girls Hr. Sec School at Valasaravaakam, Chennai and replenished them with colorful artwork. The mural paintings drawn by students depicted various social issues about health and hygiene, water conservation, education for all, which will create awareness on the issues.
