and harmony towards cultural, regional, linguistic, communal socioeconomic and other diversities
(within 500 words)

Response:

Dr.M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute University advocate Gandhian principles of tolerance and
harmony in keeping with the words of Mahatma Gandhi to ‘Wipe every tear from every eye’. It aims to
produce graduates who deliver quality health care to all sections of society with compassion. Our
University has a multicultural, multilingual student and faculty base hailing from different parts of the
country.

Students hail from all the Indian states and other countries. Initiatives for an inclusive environment for
students/staff include Student fest: Students of different communities and backgrounds come together for
these activities. Students organised the batch party in which students and faculty members participated
