Response:

Library is one of the most important catalysts for the development of faculty members, Research Scholars
and Students. The primary aim of a Library is to impart specialized and advanced knowledge to students
and enable them to acquire competence and skills in various fields of human activity meant for all round
social progress and enrichment in human values and life.

The University Library of Dr. MGR Educational & Research Institute extends the academic research
supports at all level and all stages of learning and teaching of the readers. It is supported by various
services. The Library has pioneered new services and changed the profile of what a library can do to
support in Innovation. We conceive new ideas that results in global, collaborative and interdisciplinary
world for knowledge sharing.

Library is an essential tool at all learning level. Not only physical Library paves way for its also the Virtual
Library does. Our Library supports educational field by facilitating the learning resources, referral services,
etc. Library resources are distributed across the entire Faculty and also in the Faculty Departments.

The Library focus to provide excellent services and collections to support research, teaching and learning
to a diverse campus community, to Build effective and efficient digital information resource capacity and
to advocate for support for new and emerging academic programs. We also develop virtual library services
to remote users and support the services to the full cycle of research and scholarly communication.
