The hospitals attached to medical, dental and paramedical colleges have well equipped laboratory and
teaching facility. The facilities for teaching in hospitals and labs are available as per the stipulations of
DCI, MCI-UG and PG requirement. The facilities available for patient care, teaching and research are as
per the norms of regulatory bodies.

Our university is equipped with a well-established 750 bedded hospitals and progressive improvements are
taken care off. This has expanded its wings from orthopaedics to General Medicine, General Surgery,
Paediatrics, Obstretics and gynaecology and Tuberculosis and Chest departments, etc., The department has
outstretched its services over community-based centers and health programs. The treatment for common
ailments, certain surgical procedures and basic investigations are completely free and some procedures are
carried out at subsidized rates.

There are more than 810 beds in the hospital side and 25 beds in the casuality. With the rotary club tie up
we have dialysis unit (totally 12 machine) to serve the public at the affordable price. The respiratory
medicine department has DOTS centre. The blood bank works 24 hours for speedy supply of blood during
emergency conditions. ICUs are present in the medical, surgical, paediatric, Neonatal, emergency
medicine, OG and respiratory department and equipped with the ventilators, defibrillators, monitors,
central oxygen, suction etc inside the ICU. The department of ENT deals with nasal polyp, nasal septal
deviation, otitis media and minor surgeries related. The medicine department deals with the treatment of all
fever, BP, Diabetes cases etc and helps in their management. The psychiatric department functions to deal
with various patients with anxiety, delusion, depression, hallucination and schizophrenia. The psychology
counselling is carried out for the needful.

Invasive cath lab with 24 x 7 interventional cardiac care, portable echocardiogram, Temporary pacing
facility to name a few. The ICU comprises of total 100 beds for MICU, SICU, PICU, OBG, ICU cardio-
thoracic ICU. Here teams of highly experienced, top notch surgeons undertake surgeries in a spectrum of
specialties spanning orthopedic, OBG, UROLOGY, Head & Neck, Nephrology & Pediatrics.

The equipment’s, labs, clinical teaching and learning facilities for UG and PG are as per the norms of the
respective Regulatory Bodies. The university has adequate facilities for clinical teaching and learning in
College, Hospital and Community. In College we have Labs for each specialty and students learn through
demonstration of procedures. It has both Inpatient and out Patient services. Here students are exposed to
medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Psychiatric, Dental, Eye, ENT,
NICU Coronary /ICU, ICCU, Trauma/Energy/Causality. Final year students get clinical experience in the
last 6 months as interns. Outpatient timing for general and specialty clinics are between 8.30 am to 2 pm
and evening clinics are between 4 pm to 5.30 pm. Emergency services are available 24x7 in casualty,
emergency wards and intensive care units. Clinical support services including Radiology & Imaging,
Clinical Laboratory, Cath lab, CSSD, Dialysis unit, Kitchen and laundry services & an effective
Biomedical Waste Management System are provided. Hospital premises are kept clean by the dedicated
team of house-keeping departments, throughout. Maintenance and up-gradation of equipment are carried
