Board, that include representatives of both internal and external stakeholders, typically guide strategic
planning.

Regular feedback and review is done to see that the implementation of the plan is on track. ISO & IQAC
Auditing, SWOT Analysis, and continuous dialogue with the stakeholders help us in goal setting, getting
feedback, & analysing progress. Ultimately, the strategic planning process yields decisions about the
future of the organization that will most likely lead to optimal outcome.

Campuses:

The University is unique in nature Comprising 14 Faculties (https://www.drmgrdu.ac.in/academics.php)
spread over Five Campuses viz., Main Campus, Adayalampattu Campus, Engineering and Science
Campus, ACS Medical College and Hospital Campus, Thai Moogambigai Dental College and Hospital
Campus, all at Chennai and RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital at Bengaluru.

Overall Administration and Governance:

The University has a well designed Governance Mechanism providing the necessary guidelines for
the achievement of the set goals in both the fields of Academics and Administration.

The Processes that have been designed and practiced are fully transparent. Clearly defined
Responsibilities and accountabilities helps in maintaining and continually adopting the emerging
practices for accomplishing the vision of the university.

The University has all Statutory Academic Bodies as required by UGC that takes up the
responsibilities of Planning, implementing, monitoring the activities of the University that are in
term with the vision & Mission of the University and ensures promotion of overall excellence in the
Institution Governance.

The overall Governance of the University is wrested with the Board of Management chaired by
Vice – Chancellor. In additions to the faculty members of the University, Eminent Educationalists
