       grievance committee, ICC committee, Antiragging Committee. MGR Placement and Training Cell, provides
       placement guidance & training and Dr APJ Abdulkalam Centre for Innovation Entrepreneurship, which will
       provide guidance and training to become Entrepreneur. The institute has active international student cell to
       address the challenges faced by the International students through mentoring, activities etc..


       Dr MGR Alumni Association which is a registered body organize various activities to support the present
       students through annual events like silver jubilee celebration, decennial reunion, MAA Institute level events
       and Dept level events.  MAA association geographically connected through seven MGR national networks and
       five MGR international networks. All our alumni activities monitored through our alumni portal Alma connect
       and MAA connect.


       All the present student’s events processed through MAGIC association and monitored through our software
       MGRIMS.  We created good platform for the students to represent their technical and non-technical talents in
       the form of presentation, research publication and non technical talents like sports, cultural, CSR activities,
       professional society activities etc.,


       The technical skill enhancements of students with industries are upgraded through the activities of MGR IIPC
       (Industry Institute Planning Cell).




       Governance, Leadership and Management


       The University has well defined Vision and Mission Document approved duly by statutory bodies. The
       Administration of the University is headed by Vice Chancellor assisted by Registrar, Controller of Examination
       and Deans in all academic and administrative matters. Board of Management, Academic Council and all other
       Boards and Committees are functioning as per the norms of UGC and other Statutory Councils. The
       organogram of the University will indicate the different but efficient roles for each official. The Administration
       has unique support of Former Vice Chancellors of State Universities, Former IAS Officers, Former Senior
       Officials of Government and Senior Academicians from leading Educational Institutions. The University has
       followed the Policy of the decentralization of Academic and Administration task with involvement of about 90
       Faculty members. Good Governance with decentralization of Academic and Administration approach led to
       various National and International Accreditation of the Institution.

       The University has appointed a high level committee which has prepared strategic plan document for the
       University till 2030. The committee has also recommended the mechanism for its deployment and monitoring.
       The Strategic plan for academic and research excellence is driven by the following priorities: Academic
       excellence, research & innovation, internationalization of education, societal outreach, manpower development,
       and Industry interaction. Departments have aligned their vision & Mission, Strategic Goals & Objectives with
       the University Vision & Mission. The CSR Cell and NSS cater to the Outreach Programs initiated by the
       University, the Entrepreneurship Development Cell, and Centers of Excellence make the plan for the
       development and ensure its implementation. The strategic goals are set keeping in mind the vision & mission of
       the University.


       The Institution has well defined e-governance at all fronts of the University functioning with proper budgeting.
       The University has welfare measures for Teaching and Non Teaching staff with defined and approved policies.
       Performance Appraisal Policy for staff has been approved by Board of Management. Teachers are provided
       with financial support to attend Conferences / Workshops and towards membership fee of professional bodies
       during the last five years. As a policy regular professional development / administrative training Programmes
