Research Work on the
extraction, isolation and characterization of active ingredients
from syzygium cumini seeds and their effect on lowering blood sugar
level was successfully completed and based on that Doctorate degree
was awarded to Mr. A. Kumar.

An innovative project
on Comparative evaluation of percentage of anticancer antioxidants
from various tea samples was successfully accomplished and the
results were presented in the seminar held at IIT, Khargpur and at
Pondicherry Engineering College.

Design of Mango Pulp
thermal processing units for Mango pulp processing plant at
Thirupathi.

Our Final year B.Tech
students are carrying out projects as part of the curriculum, in
leading Industrial Establishments on various socially relevant
topics thus contributing to advancement in frontiers of Knowledge.

Research work on
oxidative degradation of vegetable oils by thermolysis is in
progress.
