Introduction
In the high-tech healthcare profession, qualified technologists are in high demand. The technological advancement and medical professionals strive to give superior health care. Dr MGR Education and Research Institute [Deemed to be University] recognized the changing situation and began the B.Sc., Degree Program in Allied Health Sciences in the critical fields of medicine by 2017. Dr MGR Education and Research Institute possess a number of well-equipped departments, as well as trained and skilled medical personnel. The curriculum formerly provided eight courses, currently its providing eleven courses. Critical thinking skills are reinforced in FAHS students through enthusiastic faculty members and real-world initiatives. Students will also learn how to communicate effectively with others on a personal and professional level, as well as how to understand professional, ethical, and societal duties. Most strikingly, students acquire first hand research experience as part of the curriculum through a highly inventive initiative that frequently results in scientific papers and patents.

Course Outcome
This course prepares students in all major areas of Allied Health Science, Biology, and Chemistry -- including clinical and paramedical subjects, and gives them exposure to professional environments in which these scientific principles are applied. The graduates of this program work to facilitate the delivery of quality health care to the society by connecting doctors and patients.

Infrastructure
Central Library
Access to information is essential for optimizing an individual's potential. Our University has established a central library with over 10,000 books and a sufficient quantity of journals. This library has all of the current editions of books, both for reference and for issue. The library is fully digitized and equipped with a library management system. The library also includes e-books for students, as well as a digital library for any students who want access the internet.

Computer Laboratories
Computer laboratories are fully equipped with systems and the most up-to-date software, providing a setting in which students can apply and experiment with what they've learned in class. All of the systems have access to the internet.

Classrooms
The classrooms are quite spacious, well light and ventilated. All the classrooms are equipped with mike, LCD projector & have provision for the Internet connection.

Research and Development Laboratory
The Department Allied Health Sciences has its own Research and Development Laboratory for its Research and Development programme in progress. Thus providing an opportunity to the Students and the Faculty members and Staff to contribute to the Advancement in Science & Technology.

Hostel
Separate hostel facilities are provided for Boys and Girls in the college campus. It has adequate high security and good discipline. Each room has an attached bathroom. The students who are not staying with the parents shall reside in the college hostel as per college rules. The canteen of the college provides food in the hostel also.

Food Court
There is a modest but adequate canteen that serves subsidized nutritional meals and beverages. When it comes to food preparation, storage, and serving, the canteen prioritizes sanitation. A canteen committee oversees the canteen and plays an important role in decision-making.

Play Ground
Some believes that physical education is just as essential as any other topic. However, it is more essential than any other topic since it helps students develop physically, morally, culturally, emotionally, and intellectually.

Auditorium
ACS Convection center is one of the biggest in south India with 9000 seating capacity. It provides a vast space that transform itself to meet various needs. It is a venue for large conferences and seminars of national and international stature. It hosts a range of academic and cultural function of our University.
