NOTIFICATION ON e-Sanad SERVICES

e-Sanad is a platform for the Indian and Foreign Nationals to get the Attestation (accepted in India) and Apostille (accepted in overseas) on professional and Personal documents from concerned Documents Issuing Authorities (DIA) and Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Govt. of India.

The user needs to complete the following two steps for getting the Attestation / Apostille on documents

Step 1 - Payment for documents verification

Step 2 - Uploading documents at e-Sanad website
  • Keep the scanned copies of the documents to be Attested/ Apostilled and the online fee payment receipt ready.
  • Register yourself as an applicant by visiting https://esanad.nic.in/register and login to the e-Sanad web portal.[ Click here ]
  • Select the issuing authority state as TAMIL NADU
  • Select "Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute", in the On board Document Issuing Authority
  • Select for Non Pre - Verified Documents
  • Fill the required details and upload the document to be Attested / Apostilled. In the "Any Other Information" tab, enter the Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute Fee payment Transaction ID.
  • Then proceed to online payment for Attestation/ Apostille processing fee to e-Sanad system. The User needs to Pay Rs.90/- per Apostille or Rs.40/- per Attestation to the Ministry of External Affairs.
  • e-Sanad portal will generate its acknowledgement after the successful payment.
