The first Mission10x workshop was held from Oct 24 to 29, 2011

About the Workshop

Mission 10 X was an energy driven workshop conducted in our University to motivate and empower our faculties from different disciplines. The five day programme was packed with ideas and practices to change the way of teaching and to instill innovative ways of learning and teaching for the faculties. The workshop also provided an opportunity for the faculty members to acquire three certificates that contribute towards their professional development:

Mission10X Dale Carnegie Certificate in High Impact Teaching Skills,

Cambridge International Certificate for Teachers and Trainers,

Mission10X Certificate in Teaching and Learning.

Group learning with individual accountability was trained to the faculties. The course covers various topics :

• High impact Teaching Skills,

• Collaborative learning,

• Blooms Taxonomy,

• Howard Gardner’s multiple intelligence theory,

• Skills and intelligence mapping

• Wipro learning model.

The participants were trained to teach using innovative methods combined with active learning techniques. The trainers were highly knowledgeable, experienced and handled the sessions with enthusiasm and ease from start to finish. It was a workshop for motivation, self improvement and knowledge sharing. It has changed the outlook of the participants with respect to teaching. Faculties were completely involved and were dedicated to the programme. All sessions were taught with analogies and active participation which has made a positive impact on the participants.
