About the conference:-

This National Conference titled EMERGE’20 is already popular across the nation, especially among the ardent research fraternity and academicians for it is being organised for the fourth consecutive year in the University’s Adayalampattu campus. As new discoveries in the field of science and innovation in technology emerge year after year in diverse fields EMERGE as a name was thought to be a fitting choice. Multidisciplinary areas have become vogue and hence the organizing departments of the faculty of humanities and science namely Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science and HRM have come together to bring in more vitality to the multidisciplinary trend. EMERGE’20 is sure to surge as a viable platform for all the participants from across the nation and serve as an avenue for new knowledge thus bringing new hopes and aspirations that is sure to reflect in their overall development. The paper themes of each department has been planned keeping in mind the latest innovations, trends and happenings in each field such that paper presenters can keep in tryst with modern developments and have a healthy discussion and enthusiastic participation. There is no doubt that EMERGE will carve a niche for itself in the fields of Science, Technology and Human Resource Development.

Awards and Recognition help researchers to outgrow their echelons of competency and it is also a reward for hard work pooled with wholehearted contribution to the research arena. National Conference EMERGE 2020 has gone way ahead in recognizing outstanding contributors and honoring them with awards in the name of eminent personalities in respective fields such that they too are encouraged to scale great peaks in future. The four award categories are detailed below:

Session’s Best Student Presentation Award:

This award will be given to the most outstanding presentation done under the student category. Full-Time Students of UG/PG and Ph.D will be considered under this category.

Session’s Best Presentation Awards:

In each Department there will be a number of technical sessions under different themes. The awards will go to best presentations under different sessions for Non student / General Category.

Best Presentation Award of the Department:

This award will be given to the most outstanding presentation under each department.

Overall Best Presentation Award:

This award will be given to the most outstanding presentation of the entire conference.
