The Department of Mechanical Engineering proudly announces an innovative; industry integrated 4 Year B.Tech -Mechanical Engineering –in collaboration with SIEMENS.

The objective of this program is to enable the students to use the industrial standards in design, simulation, manufacturing and application of software tools in these areas. Students of this program will get SIEMENS certification along with a B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

This Program is designed in tune with industrial needs and makes the students Industry ready by the end of the course. In this program students will be exposed to real time implementation of design practices by SIEMENS as a part of INDUSTRY 4.0

The following modules are offered by SIEMENS:

Module I: CAD Fundamental Processes - NX CAD

This module covers the basics of Engineering graphics & Design and Machine Drawing practice using Software.

Module II: CAD Advanced Processes - NX CAD

This module covers the advanced Machine drawing practice using NX CAD Software.

Module III: TECNOMATIX - Process Simulate Standalone Basic Robotic Simulation

This covers the basics and simulation of Robotics and Automation in Production Line.

Module IV: TECNOMATIX – Factory CAD

This covers basics and simulation of Plant Layout and Material Handling.

Module V: TECNOMATIX – Plant Simulation Basics, Methods and Strategies

This covers the basics, modelling and analysis of production line based on integrated manufacturing.
