The event commenced with invocation of Tamil Thaai Vazhthu, followed by the welcome address and brief introduction of Magic ambition and achievement awards by Dr. L. Ramesh, Dean EPA in which he stated the main goal behind awarding the students and the department. He was additionally mentioned that out of 1,200 nominations 149 students were chosen for the MAGIC Ambition and Achievement Award 2019 after three phases of scrutinises from the specialists. It was then followed by distribution of Institution level and Faculty/Department level awards in the different category by our honourable president Er. ACS. Arun Kumar. The Number of Winners in Various categories of award are listed below.

Vice Chancellor Dr. S. Geetha Lakshmi felicitated the gathering with the felicitation address in which she appreciated the award winners and insisted the HoD s should motivate the students to achieve more such awards. Provost Dr.G .Gopalakrishnan appreciated and congratulated the award winners, he mentioned that this award would be a stepping stone for the successful career . Vice President Dr. M.K.Padmanaban congratulated the award winners. He along with Vice Chancellor Dr. S. Geetha Lakshmi and Provost Dr.G.Gopalakrishnan gave the other awards.

The award winners shared their happiness in receiving the awards. At the end of the event, Formal vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Komal, Association Convener from the department of Pharmacy. The event was moderated by Mrs. C. Tamilselvi, Association Convener from Department of Information Technology. The award ceremony came to an end as the gathering rose for The National Anthem.

The awards function was a live gathering with limited individual strength including the executives, heads of the department/faculty and award winners. The award winners who could not join us live were connected together through online platform -ZOOM.
