7th Feb 2021 at Rameswaram.
Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute as partner, the massive workshop & Hands-on training for Satellite Assembling towards the great mission embarked on 21-12-2021 at Anna Seminar Hall, Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute, 10:00AM -5PM.
The event was inaugurated by Padma Bhusan, Dr.A. Sivathanu Pillai, Founder CEO & MD of BraMos Aerospace. He asserted on the significance of performing experiments and explorations in space and enlightened the unprecedented educational opportunities and career options in space.
Dr.S. GeethaLakshmi, Vice-Chancellor persuaded the young minds with her positive reinforcement and asked the kids to innovate new opportunities in satellite research.
Around 200 students from various schools and Colleges around Tamil Nadu were engaged in the design and developed 20 Cube Sats.
The 30 elite students from Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute accomplished in design and developed 3 Dr.M.G.R. Femto Satellite.
The President, Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute, Er. A.C.S. Arun Kumar Presides the Valedictory and evaluated flair oftech skills behind the assembling of Cube Sats and acknowledged the team spirit of Young minds. He appreciated Team MGR for successful completion of 3 Dr.M.G.R. Femto Satellite.
