Ergonomic Wheelchair

The primary object of the present invention is to provide an ergonomically designed wheelchair for geriatric care. One of the problems faced in the healthcare field is shifting the patient from bed to wheelchair and vice versa is difficult, and the residential places having stairs, attenders find it difficult to climb and the attendants find it difficult to lift them up the stairs. The project (problem statement) selection started on February 8th, 2019 to present your idea for funding to the NewGen IEDC board members. We ideated and initiated the project under the Department of Science and Technology (DST) got grant funding of 2.5 lakhs in 2018 - 19 out of 32 teams in Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute (Dr APJ Abdul Kalam COE in Innovation and Entrepreneurship – University Incubator). Reached our 1st working prototype November 2019 under DST funding. We also won 1st prize in the best business model presentation in a national level competition for the project. We started start-up company on November 2020 and working on 5 medical projects. Our Start-up working with Doctors and Researchers on med-tech related project and problem statement. We have applied to NIC POC in 2019-2020 and we have got selected with 8.75lakhs from MoE. Motive of our company is to provide better healthcare and assisted device to needy people.

Thermal Management System for Electric Vehicles

The existing IC Engine Vehicles cause a lot of environmental pollution and a huge demand on the fossil fuels to relieve this stress interest on electric vehicle has gone deeper. The Current Thermal Management System Used in Electric Vehicles Utilizes Vapour-Compression System for Cooling the Battery Cells during a sudden reduction in the ambient temperature when the coolant is allowed to pass through a heated coil and the temperature of the coolant is increased. With the replacement of consuming more power while charging and discharging, the proposed system involves evaporative cooling by nano-porous membrane. We presented the above problem statement and our solution to Dr MGR DST NewGen IEDC (2nd Batch). We have received 2.5lakhs in 2018-19 from our University Incubator - Dr APJ Abdul Kalam COE in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. We have applied to NIC POC in 2019-2020 and we have got selected with 7 lakhs from MoE (Ministry of Education)
