THEME : DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION in POST PANDEMIC

Faculty of Computer Applications organised 2 days 6th national level conference on E-governace and cloud computing services on 27th and 28th April 2022.The theme of the conference was "Digital transformations in post pandemic”.
Day 1
Day1 started with inaugural ceremony, chief guest Dr.R.VELRAJ vice chancellor of Anna university, Dr.K.S.RAVICHANDRAN,Registrar RGNIYD and Mr.S.KALYAN Ex-senior general manager,consultant inaugurated the two-day conference in presence of Dr.G.Gopalakrishnan provost, Dr. D.Viswanathan, rector , Dr. M. Ravichandran, pro vice-chancellor and Dr.V.Cyril raj,Addl registrar.
Dr.Viji Vinod conference convener welcomed the dignitaries on dias and greeted one and all on the occasion . The dignitaries on the dais were then requested to light the lamp and the Chief Guest was felicitated by the president Er.A.C.S.Arun kumar.
Dr.S.Radha Rammohan ,Conference co-convener briefed the gathering about the conference and called it a platform to learn and exchange digital information.
Dr.G.Gopalakrishnan, Provost gave Key-Note address briefing about the importance of the conference in current scenerio and its need to student and research community.
Dr.D.Viswanathan, Rector gave the felicitation address and shared his experience and highlighted the importance of the conference and also gave special mention about V.C. Anna University , Dr.R.Velraj as Rector was his senior and Ex VC of Anna University.
Dr.S.Geethalakshmi, Vice Chancellor , who was not present in the ceremony, conveyed her special regards to Chief Guest and appreciated the FOCA Conference Convenor Dr.Viji Vinod and Organizing committee for the successful conduction of the Conference.
Dr.M.Ravichandran , Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr.K.S.Ravichandran , Registrar , Rajiv gandhi national institute of youth development, chennai , Mr.S.Kalyaan, Consultant, Blue Star Ltd. gave special address and gave innovative speech encouraging the students and researchers to focus of key areas that are in demand in current market and also insisted for a special focus on cyber security aspects in software and its applications.
Dr.T.Prabhu , Dy.Head, FOCA, gave a brief introduction about the Chief Guest and special mention about his achievements and awards.
Dr.R.Velraj, Vice Chancellor, Anna University gave Inaugural address and he gave an elobarated speech on key domains of Technology focus that is very much required for the growth of an Individual as well as country as a whole. He pointed out that India will be one among topmost country in next 10 years and so the younger generation should avail the growing trend of Technology despite of Pandemic and Post Pandemic conditions and grow along with the country for better prospects. He appreciated the Faculty of Computer Applications for their tremendous effort for organizing such conference and he expressed that s the reason he has shown special interest to be in the conference , in spite of busy schedule.
Ms.V.Sarala devi ,Conference co-convener extended the vote of thanks and expressed her gratitude to one and all for gracing the occasion.
Soon after the inaugural session first Plenary talk 1 by Speaker Dr. Kannan Arputharaj (Retd.Prof. Dept of Information Science & Tech, College of Engg , Anna university , Chennai.) currently working as Professor in VIT.
Session 1 was continued Dr. Priyanaka Malik ,Professor,Amity University, Noida Uttarpradesh. Chaired the Paper Presentation on AI and Data Mining.
Day 2
Started with Panel Discussion with Dr.Sundararajan, Scientist Retd. DRDL, Hyderabad., Mr.K.Thangaraj, CEO, M/S.Aashirwadh Health and Property Solutions, Coimbatore, India., Dr.Sherimon, Professor - Computer Science, Arab Open University, Oman., Mr.Austin, Conference Speaker and Visiting Faculty in Education Field.,Ms.Aruna Srikanth , Oracle ERP Cloud Consultant, Infosys Ltd.
Plenary Talk 2 on IoT Sensor Services is given by Dr.S.Thirumurugan,, Asst.Prof and Head of Networking Section, University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Sohar , Oman.
Session 2 Chaired by Dr.Kshama Sharma , Professor , K R Mangalam University, Gurgoan on the Topic Sustainable Growth and Development ,
Session 3 Chaired by Dr.Shynu Professor , VIT, Vellore, on the topic related to Networks and its Implementation.
Session 4 Chaired by Dr.Jayanthila Devi, Director, Post Doctoral Fellowship Program, Srinivas University, Mangolore , India on topic related to Machine learning relevance to Digital Tranformation.
Valedictory Function has started with Welcome Address by Dr.Viji Vinod, Head, Faculty of Computer Applications. Valedictory Address was given by Dr.Cyril Raj, Additional Registrar, Dr.M.G.R.Educational and Research Institute, Chennai., Conference Report was presented by Dr.S.Radha Rammohan, Professor, Faculty of Computer Applications., Vote of Thanks was given by Dr.T.Prabhu , Deputy Head , Faculty of Computer Applications followed by Conference Video and Conference is successfully completed with National Anthem.
