The societal responsibility of Dr. MGR. Educational & Research Institute was manifested as Communal missions and Awareness programmes during intense Covid crisis involving the actions and deeds of Executives, Faculties and Students. University’s mission core circumscribed the social well being and mental fitness of the public through various programmes such as Conclaves, Webinars, Panel Discussions. These culminating efforts rendered accolades and honours to the University. The Award Declaration Ceremony was held on 13 May 2022. Her Excellency Ms. Stella Budiriganya – Ambassador, Embassy of the Republic of Burindi was the Chief Guest of the ceremony, declared the Awards. Er. A.C.S. Arun Kumar-President, Mr. Ravi Kumar-Secretary of the University headed the ceremonious day. The 21 of days continuous endeavour disseminated as 52 innovative events by 33 departments under the auspices of MAGIC association, brought twinned honours at Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records. The University gratified its Horizon by bagging the most prestigious, Guinness World Record for the Largest Dentistry Lesson conducted by Faculty of Dentistry. The prominent award, World Record Union for making the Largest Polystyrene Ribbon by A.C.S. Medical College and Hospital, glorified the name and fame of University.
