Dear Graduand,

We are glad to inform you that the 31st Convocation of Dr.M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, University will be held at A.C.S. Convention Centre, A.C.S. Medical College and Hospital, Campus Velappanchavadi, Chennai-600 077 on 07-12-2022 (Wednesday) as per the following schedule.

Important Instructions to Graduands

  • All the Graduands are requested to visit our university website www.drmgrdu.ac.in. There is a link to our Alumni Network Portal Almaconnect. If you are a member of Almaconnect there is a provision to register to participate in this convocation. If you are not a member of Almaconnect, first become a member and then proceed with the registration.
  • Online registration is compulsory to participate in this convocation.
  • The last date for online registration for this convocation is 03-12-2022 at 5.00p.m.

Instructions to be followed on the day of Convocation

  • Graduands should report at Registration counters in convocation venue at the stipulated time only. (8.00am to 9.30am for Session-I & 12.00 Noon to 1.30pm for Session-II)
  • Graduands are requested to bring ID proof or any other proof issued by Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute.
  • Graduands should collect entry pass and food coupon at the respective department registration counters. They should occupy only the seats allotted to them during convocation (For accompanying persons separate seating is arranged).
  • Graduands are requested to stand up when the procession enters the venue and remain in standing position till all the members are seated.
  • Graduands should occupy their respective seats after receiving the certificates.
  • Graduands should stand in their designated place during oath ceremony.
  • Graduands are requested to remain in standing position in their places till the V.V.I.Ps and procession leave the convocation hall.
  • Graduands are requested to keep the decorum of the convocation.
