Dr MGR ERI President Er A.C.S Arun Kumar presented Sponsorship Cheque and ALUMNI SDG AMBASSADOR certification to alumnus Er. Naresh Kumar for his incredible TANDEM CYCLE Journey in the Year 2024 in the USA.

Naresh Kumar, an alumnus of Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute, has embarked on a remarkable journey, Pedaling4Freedom, a tandem cycle ride across America. He travelled over 5,600 kilometres from Seattle to New York, passing through states like North Washington, Montana, and Dakota, inviting strangers and friends to pedal with him along the way. His mission was to raise awareness and funds to combat human trafficking, and to inspire others to join him in the fight against this heinous crime.

 

Throughout his journey, Naresh faced many challenges, from navigating treacherous terrain to dealing with unpredictable weather conditions. But he persevered, driven by his passion to make a difference. And as he pedalled across America, he met countless people who were inspired by his story and joined him on his mission.
