About the Event:
The EGOV-19, organized by Department of Computer Applications, Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute in association with NIEPMD, Russian IT Association VEGA intellisoft, NIIT technologies. This is the 5th National Conference organized by the Department The theme of the Conference is "AGRICULTURE INFORMATICS”
Objective:
E-Governance Future Plan in Agriculture Linking agriculture systems to sustainable development has challenged the efforts in adopting disruptive technologies that has provided opportunities to foray into the area of Agricultural Informatics. "80-90 million acres of farmland can benefit from precision farming methods (using sensor and GIS-based soil, water and water Data to guide farming decision), which would be taught by community agricultural extension workers. 90 to 100 million farmers can benefit from real-time market information delivered on mobile devices. IT systems and digital communication can vastly improve. PDS food procurement, storage and distribution processes, benefiting 300 million to 400 million individuals who depend on subsidized grains.
Highlight:
The highlight of the Technical Conference is to emphasize the ever-increasing and critical need to encourage innovative solutions with potential for global reach. The conference will encompass keynote addresses, regular paper presentation sessions, poster presentations, Model Presentation, panel discussions and plenary talks.This would be an excellent networking opportunity and will foster everlasting friendship among fellow counterparts.

Registration Procedure
Registration has to be done in advance by sending the duly filled in registration form along with the prescribed fee. The authors of the accepted papers should register for the conference. The selected papers which are not registered for the conference will not be published in the conference proceedings. Other individuals for participation can register in advance or on the first day of the conference. The participants can submit the duly filled in registration form along with a Demand Draft (D.D) in favour of "The Registrar, Dr.MGR Educational and Research Institute” payable at Chennai and the scanned copy of the DD and Registration form can be sent to "egov@drmgrdu.ac.in"
