About the event:

The Literary Seminary organizes an extramural fest, "Glittecrazzy” during the even semester of every academic year. The goal of Glittecrazzy is to bridge the divide between academics and extra-curricular activities. Commemorating the rich legacy of The Literary Seminary, we propose to conduct "Glittecrazzy’19” featuring Ethnicity in Arts & Literature as our theme.

In today’s Globalized world, multi-cultural influences have taken hold of all aspects of our lives. Arts and Literature have been enriched by a long heritage of Ethnic influences. We dedicate Glittecrazzy’19 to the celebration of Ethnic writers and artistes that have exerted their uniqueness unto the arts, thereby changing them for the better.

Objective :

The main objective of the Conference is to celebrate writers and artists of different ethnicities, from African-American to Asian and all in-between. It aims to provide a platform for college students to display their skills and discover their talents through various events.

Highlights of the event:

  • To cultivate the strong links with industry.Two eminent personalities have been invited to deliver the inauguration and valedictory address. Our Chief Guest for the inauguration is Padma Bhushan Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam, President, Nrithyodaya & Mg. Trustee, Bharata Ilango Foundation for Asian Culture (BIFAC). Our Chief Guest for the Valedictory is Rtn. A.P. Kanna, Govenor, Rotary Club, District 3232.
  • Four offline events and two online events are being conducted as a part of Glittecrazzy’19.
  • Mock UN Debate to be conducted.
  • A two-day "Theatre Artistry” session will be organised.

  • Individual Events: Rs. 50
  • Theatre Artistry: Rs. 500
  • Combos are available in the form for multiple events.
  • Payment can be done through netbanking or cash.

Students interested in Theatre Artistry session are asked to register in advance due to limited seating.

Expected Outcome:

The outcome of the Fest would be increased awareness and appreciation of Ethnic works of Literature. Authors and innovators of this genre would be celebrated. Events conducted would inspire students to read international literature and write on their own.
